I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rivermount House and I must say, it far exceeded my already high expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the friendly hosts, making us feel instantly at home. the spacious bedroom with its ensuite bathroom and over bath shower was impeccably clean and the large, comfortable double bed adorned with superb linen ensured a restful night's sleep. As a landscape photographer, the picturesque location with lovely views provided a perfect backdrop for my morning cup of tea, which was made even better by the kettle and tea and coffee facilities in the room. One of the standout features for me was the cozy sitting area with garden furniture outside our room, where we could admire the stunning view of the pasture with donkeys, truly a unique and charming experience. the attention to detail was evident throughout our stay, from the delicious breakfast spread that included buffet cereals, fruits, yogurts, and cooked-to-order hot breakfast. Rivermount House truly stands out for its exceptional hospitality, attention to detail, and the genuine warmth of the hosts, making it a place I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a quiet location with beautiful views. Whether you're a photographer like me, a family looking for a comfortable stay, or a traveler in need of a relaxing retreat, this charming guesthouse exceeds expectations on every level.
